Venture seas gallery9/27/2023 ![]() We did not venture inside, but for those who enjoy treatments like massages and pampering, you can rest assured knowing that the spa is well equipped and runs regular specials during the cruise.įollowing the spa, we went down to Deck 11 to get pictures of the gym. Making a lap around the outdoor track, we came to the Spa. While some venues have specialty cocktail menus, none of the outdoor venues do, serving the same Quenchers at Sea menu as other venues like the Pool Bar and Solarium Bar. Moving forward on Adventure of the Seas, there is the outdoor seating area and the Sky Bar. ![]() There was a $6.95 cover charge per person. According to the compass, Johnny Rockets was normally open for snacks from 1pm to 10:30pm, or later. We did not get a chance to grab lunch from the restaurant, and during our sailing, they did not serve breakfast like they do on Oasis class ships. Johnny Rockets is also located over in this area. Some of the games looked a bit older, so don’t expect the latest gaming technology. This game room features skee-ball, air hockey, foosball, and other electronic games. If you like to play video games, you are in luck as this arcade is one of the largest we have seen in a while. Being mid-ship, we first took pictures of some of the children’s facilities, Adventure Ocean and the arcade. It was a good sized rock climbing wall though, similar to what you would find on either Freedom or Quantum class ships.ĭeck 12 is the first ship-long deck. We did not get to use the rock climbing wall this time around as the last sea day it rained, but to get to the wall, you have to enter from deck 14 near the Viking Crown Lounge area. I suspect that the sports court will be updated and this area redesigned during its next refurbishment. Other Voyager class ships have replaced this attraction with a flowrider. Same is true for the inline skating rink. There was also a golf simulator, but the few times we were on the sports deck, it seemed like it was never being used. We would have played more games, but after winning both games early on during the cruise, there was no competition that could match my putting skills! A word of caution: the mini golf holes look new, like they have been re-carpeted, but they are uneven, and it is apparent that whoever refurbished the course draped green carpet over old “hazards” like sand dunes. Heading down to deck 13, we snapped shots of the sports deck, including the basketball court, inline skating rink, and mini-golf course.īeing only 9 holes, the mini-golf course seemed quite large and fun to play. The Viking Crown Lounge is also always a great spot to grab some aerial shots of the pool deck. Other rooms on this deck include the Seven Hearts Card Room and Cloud Nine.We did not notice many cruisers using these rooms during our cruise on Adventure of the Seas, so if you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the pool decks, these rooms offer some nice views with few people. Here, you will find the Blue Moon Lounge, which is essentially a section of the Lounge that offers Jazz music many nights. On this occasion, we started at the top of the ship, on Deck 14, in the Viking Crown Lounge. On embarkation day of our cruise, we always start with a complete photo tour of the ship. I mean, she does contain over 14 bars and lounges! Photo Tour Adventure of the Seas The Top Decks of Adventure of the Seas We go from bow to stern, down all the decks to show you that this 14 year old vessel still has plenty of spirit in her. Well, this week we bring you a complete Photo Tour of Adventure of the Seas. We recently sailed on Adventure of the Seas and were quickly captivated by her features and layout. Updated in 2014, the ship offers some impressive features, including ship wide WiFi and a giant outdoor movie screen, along with the brand’s signature Royal Promenade on Deck 5. Built in 2001, the ship regularly sails Southern Caribbean itineraries making stops in exotic ports of call like Aruba, St. Adventure of the Seas is one of five Royal Caribbean Voyager class ships.
